San Francisco/Northern California Chapter #4
The mission of the San Francisco Northern California Chapter of the DNA is to further objectives and purposes of the National Dermatology Nurses' Association by providing quality dermatology specific education to it's regional members. Providing networking opportunities are inherent in the educational process. We pride ourselves on being welcoming and user friendly to new members. Exposure to the latest technology and products along with hands on experience is a mainstay at our annual conferences.
Our regional chapter was started in the early 1990's by some of the most dynamic dermatology nurses that have molded many of the national programs such as the phototherapy program. Up until 3 years ago meetings were held in San Francisco at the Fort Mily VA. Now we have been meeting at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System.

Chapter Meetings
Our chapter meetings are held at the noon hour at our annual educational program. The meeting places are announced in the educational brochure and are open to members and nonmembers. We follow our national meeting guidelines. We hold elections of officers, discuss chapter issues and vote on them as they come up.
